President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Tuesday Secretary-General of World Tourism Organization, Taleb Al Rifai at presidential headquarters in Misr El Gedideh, in presence of minister of tourism, Hisham Zazou, Veto News reported. Al Sisi stressed that Egypt holds great importance to tourism sector, as it is one of the most important pillars of the Egyptian economy, as well as a source of income for a large segment of citizens. The president pointed out that Egypt spares no effort to provide the highest security and safety standards, both for the Egyptian people and tourists from all over the world, who are guests of Egypt. He explained that Egypt always seeks to use the latest technology in relation to security equipment and safety standards, as it continuously aims to cooperate with friendly countries in this regard.
