Arab Parliaments' Speakers Conference is scheduled to be launched on Wednesday under sponsorship of Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the current president of the Arab Summit, Al Bawaba News reported. The conference comes in coordination with the Arab League and Arab Parliamentary Union. It will witness the participation of 50 speakers and members of the Arab parliaments. The conference will discuss the current challenges facing the Arab nations and the measures that should be taken to keep the Arab unity during the coming period. It also aims to find parliamentary visions reflecting the formal and public efforts to support the Joint Arab action on the political, military, economic and legislative sides. The speakers are also scheduled to hold closed session on Thursday to discuss the role performed by the Arab parliaments to develop the mechanisms of the joint Arab action and to activate its institutions. Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi will meet with the speakers of Arab parliaments in the presidential palace on Thursday to discuss the recent developments on the regional and international arena and the ways to overcome the current challenges.
