Nasr visits Kuwait to discuss financing development projects in Sinai

Minister of International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr will visit Kuwait Sunday, to meet with Arab financial institutions, in order to discuss funding of development projects in Sinai, Al-Bawaba News reported.
Meanwhile, General Director of Kuwait Fund for Development, Abdel Wahab Al-Badr revealed that the fund allocated $5.1 billion to support the development projects in Sinai Peninsula, with $300 million annually to finance projects within 5 years.
Bader pointed out that the funding includes several projects in different sectors, such as housing, roads and agricultural development.
He explained that Sinai is a promising region, stressing that the Kuwait fund for development does not have any objection to finance projects in Sinai, as long as the Egyptian government considers them a priority.
