Suez governorate witnessed Sunday morning heavy rains and increase in the wind and waves speed, which disrupted transportation and maritime traffic, Youm7 reported. Red Sea Ports Authority (RSPA) spokesperson, Abdel Rahim Mustafa stated that the Red Sea ports were, leading to the rise of the wind speed. RSPA received a signal from the meteorology, stating that the country within the next 48 hours will experience a turbulent weather affecting the navigational movement of the Red and Mediterranean seas, due to the country's being hit by two depressions, Red Sea depressions and Sudan depression. The Red Sea depressions will be accompanied by dust and dust storms while the Sudan depression will be accompanied by heavy water fall and Seoul, he added. Depressions are areas of low atmospheric pressure which produce cloudy, rainy and windy weather.
