Egypt's Central Bank launches initiative to support tourism

Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) launched a new initiative to support retail banking clients working in the tourism sector, Al Bawaba News reported Monday.
CBE said in a statement that due to the tourism sector current crisis, the bank will consider the postponement of payment of tourism sector workers loans in order to support Egypt's tourism.
The bank pointed out that it postponed the payment of loans for six months started from last October, adding that the bank will not take any utilities from the loans.
