Published in Albawaba on 16 - 11 - 2015

Belgian Jihadist Abdel Hamid Aboud involved in the terrorist attacks committed in Paris on Friday, sources close to the French investigations committee said on Monday, Le Monde reportd.
They added to Le Monde that the Belgian Jihadist, 28-year-old from Sint-Jans-Molenbeek; existed currently in Syria, planned, financed and gave the orders to launch the terrorist deadly attacks that led to the death of over 129 persons.
Abaaoud Abd Elhamid, alias Abu Omar Al-Soussi, who joined the ranks of the Islamic State (IS) in early 2013, be named in the media headlines for the first in a few days after the attacks of January 7 against Charlie Hebdo. It is indeed considered the brain of a dismantled network January 15 in Verviers, Belgium, two of whom were killed by Belgian police.
This cell was planning to attack on January 16 and could, according performed plays, count on the support of a dozen "foreigners". Even then, the Belgian investigators worked closely with various European services to try to determine how far extended this network and widen its potential ramifications with France.
Investigators strongly suspect, without his degree of involvement can be ascertained with certainty, to have played a role in the abortive attack against a church in Villejuif, April 19, 2015, a project thwarted attack against a room concert, whose author was arrested on August 11, the Thalys and the attack ten days later, on August 21. He was also in contact with Mehdi Nemmouche, the killer of the Jewish Museum in Brussels on 24 May 2014.
A source close to the intelligence services reported, that individual was considered dangerous enough that his name has circulated in late September as one of the potential targets of French air strikes.
In the same context, a Turkish senior official revealed that his government warned France in December 2014 and June 2015 over one of the recent attacks executors. He added that Turkey has not received any request from France to obtain any information in this regard.
On the other hand, France's Interior Minister Bernard Kaznov said that the security forces arrested 23 suspects. stressing that the authorities will resume its strict measures during the coming period until arresting all those who involved in the attacks.
