The European Parliament (EP) adopted, on Saturday, Egypt's Dar Al-Iftaa as a reference for Islamic fatwas, and a high-level delegation from the religious entity will visit the EP to finish relevant procedures. Dar al-Iftaa's observatory vowed to translate its fatwas and religious reports to refute fatwas of extremist groups, notably al-Qaeda and the Islamic State (IS). Egyptian Endowments Minister, Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa and Culture Minister, Helmi Al-Namnam praised the European decision, asserting that Dar Al-Iftaa represents the moderate majority in Muslim Society.
