Egyptian Telecommunication Minister, Yasser Al Qadi met Emirati deputy PM, Seif Ben Zayed after the opening ceremony of ‘Gitex Technology Week Forum' launched in Dubai, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. Both officials discussed investment opportunities between both countries in the field of communications and information technology in addition to ways to benefit from Emirati experience in implementing the Smart Government Project. Al Qadi indicated the Egyptian government exerted efforts enhancing a suitable investment climate and invited the Emirati government to participate in establishing the Creativeness and Innovation Center to be erected in the new city at Cairo airport. Emirati Economy Minister expressed his optimism regarding the Egyptian economy stressing on the fierce partnership between Egypt and UAE. ‘Gitex Technology Week Forum' is the largest annual event in the field of communications and information technology in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia with the participation of more than 3,900 exhibiting companies, 143 thousand visitors, and 2000 executives from 144 countries.
