Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has met on Thursday his Sudanese counterpart Ibrahim Ghandour on the sidelines of the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. During the meeting, they discussed current situation in Libya, Syria and South Sudan, as well as the developments of the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) crisis. The spokesperson for foreign Affairs, Ahmed Abu Zaid said the meeting also discussed the Egyptian bid for a non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council.
