President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Friday with the Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly Summit in New York, Al Bawaba News reported. During the meeting, Keita congratulated Sisi on the inauguration of the new Suez Canal, pointing out that this project helped in restoring Egypt's position in the international scene. Keita invited Sisi to participate in the Economic Cooperation and Development meeting in Paris on October 22 to support the peace agreement in Mali. For his part, Sisi congratulated Keita on the signing of Mali's peace accord, expressing his confidence in the Malian government to preserve the country's security and stability.
