Egypt's High Election Committee (HEC) issued a decision to regulate the voting of Egyptians abroad in the coming parliamentary elections, Al-Bawaba News reported Monday. The decree states the right of Egyptians abroad to participate in the voting process and to choose their candidates in their place of residence. According to the decree, the voters should carry their identification cards or their valid passports that include their ID numbers. The voting process will be held in the headquarters of Egypt's embassies or consulates or any other places decided by the committee after the Foreign Ministry's approval. The elections abroad are scheduled to be supervised by the diplomatic staffs in different embassies.
