Egyptian president Abd Al Fattah Al-Sisi met Sunday with members of the presidential Council for Economic Development over reviewing its activities and assignments, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. Presidential spokesperson, Alaa Yousef said that Al-Sisi reviewed the latest developments for the Thousand Factories Project in New Cairo, expected to be launched next October. Al-Sisi stressed on state's concern for small and medium industries as a factor of youth employment as well as its ability of horizontal proliferation. Yousef signaled to the council's suggestions of several proposals regarding the one and half million acres reclamation project based upon establishing urban integrated developing communities. At the end of the meeting, Al-Sisi praised the cooperation between the presidency's specialized councils and the various ministries of concern, Yousef added.
