Egypt ambassador to Croatia says Salopek execution not confirmed

Egypt's ambassador to Croatia said on Wednesday there were no confirmed information on the execution of the Croatian kidnapped by the Islamic State group in the Sinai Peninsula, CBC satellite channel reported.
News websites said earlier today the execution was carried out against the 30-year Tomislav Salopek who was taken captive on July 22.
IS has released a video on Wednesday purporting the execution of salopek.
