President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea Kim Yong-nam has left the capital Pyongyang heading to Cairo, to participate in the new Suez Canal inauguration, Aswat Masriya news reported Wednesday. Nam's visit is upon the invitation of Egypt's President Abdel Fatah Al Sisi, official North Korean news agency reported.
The inauguration will take place on Thursday, attended by world leaders.
