At least 30 people were killed during an attack carried out by Boko Haram insurgents on two villages in southern Niger, Al Bawaba News reported Thursday. Security sources in Niamey revealed that the attack, which occurred last night, targeted the two villages located in Diffa region, Russia Today channel reported, indicating that all the victims were civilians. This attack is the second within a week after two suicide bombings carried out by Boko Haram elements in N'Djamena, Chad's capital on Monday killing at least 34 people.
