President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's visit to Germany aims to coordinate the efforts between the two countries to combat terrorism, said Chriperson of the Republican People Party Hazem Omar on Tuesday. Omar praised the president's recent foreign tours, saying: "Egypt restored its international influence thanks to Sisi's foreign trips." He expected the visit, scheduled to start on Wednesday, will enhance the economic cooperation between the two countries. He noted that Sisi should seize the opportunity to gain Germany's support for Egypt's bid for the non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council. Egypt gained the support of a number of European countries, including Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland.
