Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders will hold an emergency meeting on June 2 in Turkey to resolve the mounting tensions within the terrorist group, an MB source told Al Bawaba newspaper Saturday. The source, who asked to remain anonymous, told the newspaper that the meeting will tackle the recent tensions that escalated after a spokesman announced that Mohamed Badi would remain the MB's Supreme Guide. The announcement could be interpreted as shoving to the side MB Secretary general Mohamed Hussein and other guidance office's leaders, causing a rift within the organization. MB leaders will also discuss counter measures to the initial death sentences issued by Egyptian courts against ousted president Mohamed Morsi and other MB leaders, the source added. They appealed to the African International Criminal Court and The Hague's International Court of Justice to look into the verdicts. A Dutch lawyer appointed by the group said his country's court had already taken action regarding the appeal, the source added. The source also revealed that the group would hold an international press conference, in the presence of international rights groups to denounce the verdicts handed to Morsi and other MB leaders.
