Ministry of Planning revealed Tuesday, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi is dissatisfied with the slow pace of development projects' implementation, in addition to the contradicting reports submitted by the Ministry of Planning and Finance, source told Al-Bawaba news. The source confirmed that President al-Sisi gave instructions to increase projects' allocations, especially in the fields of education, health, and electricity, to be implemented by introducing development projects within the economic and social plan for the New Year, through the website of the Ministry of Planning. "Minister of Planning is considering increasing financial subsidies to ministries, 10% will be directed mostly to renewable and nuclear energy projects, to overcome the recent energy crisis, as well as cooperating with the private sector to implement projects initiated at the Egypt Economic and Development Conference EEDC in Sharm El-Sheikh," the source added. The increment will be allocated for projects of education, health, and electricity, to increase the efficiency of those sectors, due to the growing public anger of the decline of services provided by them. "The private sector will be a key partner in the development plan and the advancement of these sectors to lift the burden on the state's budget" He explained, roads and transport network development projects, one million housing units, and reclamation of a million acres, would fall under the new plan.
