Jama'a Islamiya (Islamic Group) Liberals Movement coordinator, Rabei Shalaby strongly criticized head of Construction and Development Party, Tarek Zommor over his statements against security forces, Al Bawaba News reported Wednesday. Shalaby strongly resented the way fugitives such as Zommor incite violence against the Egyptian army, which he described as "the Arab nation's shield," in an interview with Al Bawaba News. "Zomar's statements must be regarded as treason," the Islamist activist argued. According to news reports, Zommor, who fled to Qatar, mocked the deaths of security personnel killed in the recent Sinai bombings.
