Egypt's Electoral Districts Committee is holding a meeting Sunday to discuss political parties and powers' proposals for amendments of the parliamentary law, according to Al Bawaba News. Former presidential adviser on constitutional affairs, Ali Awad told Al Bawaba News that the committee can't put deadline for its work, until they consider parties' proposals. "This includes putting the final touch on the law, submitting it to the cabinet and to the State Council's legislation department, which, in turn, submits it to the president to be approved," he added. A committee member, Salah Fawzy, told Al Bawaba News the parties' proposals are not binding on the committee.
