The international coalition has launched Saturday airstrikes in Iraq, targeting Islamic State (IS) jihadist group's sites in Mosul city. Peshmerga Kurdish forces' commander, Barzan Ali said that the coalition's airstrikes left deaths and injuries from IS, as well as destroying its military unit. Yesterday, the coalition announced in a statement that it carried out airstrikes on ten of IS' targets in Iraq, including five near the city of Mosul. Mosul is the second largest Iraqi city, which is currently the largest city controlled by Islamic State jihadist group.
