King Felipe VI of Spain invited Friday President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to visit Madrid during the year to discuss bilateral economic ties between the two countries. Spain's ambassador in Cairo, Arturo Aphlodath announced that the king of Spain invited the president to visit the Spanish capital, Madrid. He didn't disclose the date for the visit, but he added that the date will be determined through the diplomatic channels. The ambassador pointed out in remarks to journalists, that the president had met the king of Spain in Addis Ababa, where he was the guest of honor of the African Union summit, which was held late January at the Ethiopian capital. He revealed that the Spanish government will send a delegation, in addition to Spanish businessmen delegation to visit Egypt and participate in the economic conference, which will be held at Sharm el-Sheikh in March. Moreover, the ambassador explained that the government's delegation will include Minister of Industry, Tourism, and Trade, whereas the businessmen delegation will include representatives of more than 20 Spanish companies. Egypt has adopted several initiatives to lessen bureaucracy and guarantee investors' rights. This has involved the improvement of new laws to regulate offers and investment, in addition to creating a new commission to guarantee quick solutions for commercial differences.
