Wilayet Sinai Jihadist group executed 10 people Tuesday, who they described as spies, according to a video posted by the group on social networks. Four hostages appeared on the video saying that they cooperated with the Egyptian Army and Mossad. According to the video, shared on Twitter, the executions came in response to the destruction of houses and mosques in Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid by the Egyptian army. In April 2014, Egypt had considered Wilayet Sinai as a terrorist group according to adjudication. On January 29, at least 33 soldiers were killed and dozens injured in three terrorist attacks that targeted army bases in Arish, North Sinai. Wilayet Sinai claimed responsibility for the attacks.
