Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has decided Sunday to extend the curfew in Sinai until April 25, according to the Cabinet's spokesperson Hossam Gawesh. The curfew, supposed to end today, had been imposed by Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi after 31 soldiers were killed and dozens injured in two separate terrorist attacks last October in North Sinai. Al Sisi had declared a state of emergency in North Sinai which included a curfew between 5:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
