EL Menesterly Palace located on El-Rodah Island in El-Manial District in Cairo, next to the Nile O'meter, was established 1850 by Fouad Hassan El-Menesterly Pasha, during the reign of Saed Pasha, El-Menesterly was assigned several posts, including the head of the Parliament and the Minister of Interior, he died in 1858. The palace witnessed many historical events, including the the establishment of the Arab League, and a number of meetings between King Farouk and Arab leaders after WWII. Egypt's Ministry of Antiquities renovated the palace, and it was reopened in 2012 for the public.
