Richard Linklater's ‘Boyhood' won big on Monday at the 72nd Golden Globe awards taking home the award for Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Director and Best Supporting Actress. Boyhood has other won other accolades, including being named one of America Film Institute (AFI) best films of the year and receiving three Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Most recently the film received 5 BAFTA Award nominations for Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress. Other awards handed out at the Golden Globes included actor Eddie Redmayne winning Best Actor for "The Theory of Everything." His first major award. The film also won Best Original Score. Boyhood and The Theory of Everything are produced by Universal Pictures and are distributed in Egyptian theatres by Four Star Films.
