An Egyptian charlatan named Nagy Ali living in Harraneya district near the pyramid of Khufu in Giza found a secret stony passage leading to the Great Pyramid. Colonel Walid el-Sharkawy, Head of Detectives of Giza Antiquities, said that the charlatan was digging for months under his home near the pyramids where it is forbidden to dig or construct any building, adding that he fled after he had discovered a long ascending passage 10-meter depth under his home. A committee from the Ministry of Antiquities inspected the site, headed by the archaeological Kamal Wahed, head of Giza Antiquities. The committee noted that dozens of foreign missions using developed scientific instruments could not find that secret corridor that leads to the pyramid.
