The United Nations (UN) delegation in Libya called Monday for ending the military operations in Libya, to give room for political dialogue. The delegation accused, the conflicting parties of being behind the recent military escalation concerning the oil resources in order to thwart talks at the Libyan district of Ghadames, which was scheduled to be held on Tuesday. Moreover, the delegation added that the Libyan oil belongs to the people and no group should manipulate or control it. Furthermore, the delegation stressed that the dialogue is the demand of the vast majority of Libyans and that there is no other alternative, highlighting that there will be no winner in the current military conflict, and that the use of violence and force will not succeed in achieving the political goals.
