U.S. and Japan is preparing to build a space elevator connecting Earth with the moon in 2020 to transport required materials for building a space station, the Russian newspaper "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reported. The design mainly depends on cords that will extend from the Earth to the first space station called LaGrange point, and then to the moon. The construction of such a device - scheduled to end in 2050 - is a very complex process as it requires the engineers to overcome the gravity and the weather changes.
