AL-GAISH of Egypt are scheduled to meet last year's Arab Champions League finalists ES Setif of Algeria in the first leg of the semi-final of the Arab Champions league on 14 April in Cairo. Al-Faisali of Jordan will clash with Wydad Casablanca of Morocco on 15 April in Jordan in the other semi-final. Second leg matches will be on 28-30 April. In the group stage, Al-Gaish came in second place with eight points, level with USM Alger but Al-Gaish had beaten Alger 1-0 to grab a semi-final spot. Wydad Casablanca came on top of the group with 10 points. In Group A, ES Setif came in first with 11 points, two ahead of second-place Al-Faisali.
