Sufra Dayma: Biscuits in Chocolate Sauce By Moushira Abdel-Malek Ingredients: 18 biscuits (any type - plain) 1/2 cup castor sugar 3 eggs 2 sachets of vanilla Instant cocoa 3 tbsp brandy 225 gms butter (melted at room temperature) Method: Beat butter and sugar in an electrical blender until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla while still beating. Lower the speed and add the cocoa until you get the desired darkness of chocolate sauce. Continue beating while adding brandy to combine. In a large bowl, crumble biscuits by hand. Pour over chocolate sauce and mix together with a spatula until biscuits are well covered in sauce. Transfer mixture into a rectangular or squared serving dessert dish. Refrigerate for at least two hours. Serve with cream (optional).
