Horoscopes:
Hidden nuances
By Imhotep
Sometimes silence reveals more than even the coziest chats. Crabs, as people born under the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer (22 Jun-22 Jul) are sometimes called, instinctively understand the power of communicating in silence. Mental telepathy is something that comes easily to creative Crabs.
You are famous for an innate ability to create romance -- to cast magic spells, my dear Crabs.
Beware of those who'll want to crush your shells in February. You'll be tempted to use those terrible pincers of yours. Cancerians are notorious for resorting to those fearsome weapons of theirs when cornered. February provides interesting opportunities for Cancerians to win a gamble.
Cancerians will once again prove to the world that they are made of tougher stuff.
Typical Crabs are secretive and very private creatures. Some Cancerians would not divulge an intimate secret to their closest friends. The more family and friends try to get a Cancerian to talk about their innermost feelings, the more they retreat into their shells.
Others, however, confide in Crabs. Cancerians know how to keep a secret and friends and family, in particular, appreciate this Cancerian character trait.
Cautious Cancerians will have a chance to hedge their bets on an all important decision in February. Your keen business sense has never been sharper. Closing a deal is a fine art. Keep family and friends out of your business. Tell them to mind their own business. The deal will be struck with a perfect stranger.
Staying flexible is the key.
February is a month when Lions, as people born under the Fixed Fire sign of Leo (23 Jul-22 Aug) will achieve a fine balance between pathos and hilarity. Towards the end of February, Leonians will triumph over adversity, turning loss by sheer force of will into success.
Leonians are quick to pounce on any trouble that comes their way. Trouble- makers better flee when they see the Lions prancing up and down the corridors of power by the end of the month.
Few can escape the clutches of a Lion. There is a ruthless streak in every Leonian. All the rage that has been bottled up in the hearts of Lions for so long will flood out in a torrent of harsh words of anger and recrimination. Enemies will tremble at the roar of the Lions this February.
Vindicated, the stout-hearted Lions will be ready to forget and forgive. Once they've spoken their minds, Lions will bask in the limelight of their newfound success.
Lions cannot be kept to the sidelines. And, in February they shall demonstrate their uncanny ability to put less adroit creatures squarely in their place.
The Lions are always prepared to take action.
Occupied with home and hearth, people born under the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo (23 Aug-22 Sep) have plenty of house-cleaning opportunities in February.
Throw out rubbish you've been hoarding and watch how your life changes for the better.
You are, my dear Virgoans, thinking about making dramatic changes to your home. Go ahead. February makes for perfect timing.
Treat yourself to something special, my dear Virgoans. Your emotions will be right over the top, so doing something nice for yourself certainly couldn't hurt. That includes spending time with someone you love, of course.
Virgoans are programmed to survive. The year began on a promising note for most of these hardy people. And Imhotep predicts promotions and other pleasant surprises in the days to come.
My dear Virgoans, what happens in February might be unexpected, but you'll quickly see that it could work out to your advantage. Don't try to control something which should be allowed a life of its own.
Virgoans will enjoy a more carefree frame of mind in February. They will encounter experiences that better suit their Utopian vision of the world. But then more of that later in next month's reading of the fortunes of Virgoans by Imhotep.
