Horoscopes:
Hotting up
By Imhotep
What is the point of winning, my dear Crabs, as people born under the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer (22 Jun-22 Jul) are sometimes called, if you lose friends, family or your sense of self along the way? That is a pretty empty victory. Think about what really matters in your life and keep a sense of perspective and fun.
A romantic situation you've been uncertain about can become clear now in a most gratifying way, making your next steps sure ones. Engage your instinct in order to find your heart's path.
More than most other people, you are able to truly feel your feelings. Don't be so quick to discount this skill -- it is truly a rare one. Most people don't fully process emotions until days, months or years after the fact. Crabs are sensitive creatures.
You, my dear Crabs, feel the need to be appreciated, but the circumstances aren't quite right for you to take centre stage. You will be noticed when your potential has reached its full flower.
For now, keep working. It's natural to look at the flaws in others to make yourself feel better. But just remember that no one is perfect. Be kinder to yourself and you'll find that you are able to be a lot kinder to others as well.
A mysterious silence suits you at the moments especially because since if you do talk, you Crabs are prone to babble especially when you are tense and nervous. Try communicating with a smile, body language and eye contact -- it is amazing what you can say without words.
If you are expecting more of the same old stuff, my dear Lions, as people born under the Fixed Fire sign of Leo (23 Jul-22 Aug) are sometimes called, then that is what you are likely to get. If on the other hand you are anticipating some fabulous changes and romantic or spiritual breakthroughs -- well, they'll come this July.
If your usual group of friends isn't taking you to romantic places, plan some solo outings. Look for gallery openings, political events, readings -- whatever floats your boat. And, rest assured that you are much more approachable on your own.
And, how about consulting a romantic mentor? Find someone whose relationship you really admire -- for its equality, communication, respect and fun And, find out how your guru continues to win hearts and minds and loves so effortlessly.
Listen and look around. Increase your awareness of everything and everyone around you. And you will notice some rather surprising and possibly hot undercurrents to what's happening on the surface.
Sometimes love is just confusing, my dear Virgoans, as people born under the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo (23 Aug-22 Sep) are sometimes called. And, I don't mean romantic love necessarily. Sometimes to love as a friend or as a parent is just as difficult and confusing as romantic relationships. The more you try to figure out the logistics of love, the more incomprehensible it seems. Give your heart a break, and give your mind some rest.
Clarity will come in time. Perhaps you should focus on others. Indeed, some people particularly want your help these days. Someone close to you will approach you for advice regarding a very personal problem. Fortunately, you have an extremely useful solution. Perceptive Virgoans always know best. You may have to work it carefully to get your point across, though.
Treat yourself to a performance and you will get rave reviews. If you don't have anything lined up, then there is a clue hidden in last month's dreams that will point you in the right direction.
The stars send some invigorating energy into your life in July. People are open to ideas they would have dismissed as impossible only a few years ago. It is a great time to dream bug and recruit help from far and wide. And if you throw a party you will meet someone who clicks with you. It is one of those moons where serendipity is going to trump the best laid plans, so flow with it.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius
