Horoscopes:
Living it up
By Imhotep
An obsession with your appearance, my dear Crabs, as people born under the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer (22 Jun-22 Jul) are sometimes called, will take hold of you in the weeks ahead. Does this mean you are on to the gym? Maybe. But if you're after faster results, you might also be thinking of more immediate methods.
Cautious Crabs will have a chance to hedge their bets on an all important decision in April. Cancerians are not by nature risk-takers, but April provides interesting opportunities for Crabs to win a gamble.
Creative Cancerians are a sensitive lot. Beware, my dear Crabs, of those who'll want to crush your shells. You'll be tempted to use those terrible pincers of yours. Cancerians are notorious for resorting to those fearsome weapons of theirs when cornered.
You, my dear Crabs, have been bitten by a bug that's inspired you to make major changes in your life. In the second half of April, you will spend more of your time, my dear Cancerians, with those dearest to you. Your primary partner or best friend in the whole wide world will take a starring role in your life -- much to your delight and theirs as well.
Lions, as people born under the Fixed Fire sign of Leo (23 Jul- 22 Aug) are sometimes called, are ruled by the Sun. They love to shine brightly and bask in the adoration of lesser beings.
Spring is in the air for Lions. Imhotep predicts that this is a time of profuse outpouring of creative energies. Be willing to think and act a little controversially.
Your keen business sense has never been sharper. Closing a deal is a fine art. Keep family and friends out of your business. Tell them to mind their own business. The deal will be struck with a perfect stranger.
Staying flexible is the key.
Talk about single-minded -- you'll be absolutely impossible to tear away from your intended course of action throughout April. You, my dear Lions, are going to have what can only be described as an emotional moment towards the end of the month -- probably due to someone you've only known for a little while.
There is a good chance that such moments might become some of the most unforgettable experiences of your life. Throw down a gauntlet of challenge this April. See what the stars have in store for you.
Financial concerns, Imhotep predicts, will overwhelm people born under the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo (23 Aug-22 Sep) in April, especially towards the end of the month. Intense disagreement over money matters, however, might lead to a row with a close family member by the beginning of May. Take it easy.
Moneywise, act like a thrifty, but risk-taking tycoon: be clever with your money and watch it grow.
Carry disposable tissues and your mobile phones just in case you need to reach out for your best friend at a moment's notice. Pour your hearts out to those who care to listen sympathetically. Cry buckets.
Cry and don't hold back those tears. It'll do you plenty of good. Treat yourself to something special. Your emotions will be right over the top, so doing something nice for yourself certainly couldn't hurt. That includes spending time with someone you love, of course.
You have plenty of house-cleaning opportunities in May. More than anything, my dear Virgoans, declutter your home. Throw out rubbish you've been hoarding and watch how your life changes for the better. You are, my dear Virgoans, thinking about making dramatic changes to your home. Go ahead. May makes for perfect timing.
