Horoscopes:
Take it easy
By Imhotep
As if there wasn't enough going on upstairs, my dear Sea Goats, as people born under the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec-22 Jan) are sometimes called. Another planet will toss its two pennies into the mix, making it even tougher to get things done.
Don't be frustrated. Hold on to that lovely faith you're famous for, my dear Sea Goats.
If you feel like someone isn't seeing you for who you are, put your strongest self out there and let them know who they are dealing with. They may be surprised by what they see, my dear Sea Goats. You may not have a convertible, but you can roll down the windows and pretend you do. Either way, you'll feel good if you let the wind ruffle your hair a bit. Just let go.
You are feeling very sensitive these days my dear Sea Goats. Try to remember this if you find your feelings getting easily hurt at work or home. It's probably not intentional -- it is just where you are right now.
Capricornians instinctively search for the right outlook to life. The month of August comes loaded with fresh challenges for Sea Goats in the arena of romance and affairs of the heart. In the workplace, too, Sea Goats will be called upon to prove their mettle.
You are not ready to wind it down yet, my dear Water Bearers, as people born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23 Jan-19 Feb) are sometimes called. In fact, it feels as if fun-time just got going a few minutes before it ended. Go ahead and stay up late. Don't worry about your beauty sleep.
In early August, you are more than likely, my dear Water Bearers, to spend long sleepless nights tossing and turning in bed. You can catch more restful nights next month. A few Aquarians with Leo, Cancer and Pisces in the Ascendant will, however, sleep soundly this summer. Please my dear Water Bearers, find out what your Ascendant is. Your sleep patterns will be influenced by planetary movements and the stars.
And, watch out, Water Bearers. You've stumbled across someone special. They're different. They are totally different from anyone you have ever known and, in fact, your are fascinated. Luckily, the feelings are mutual and there are a lot of feelings, too. Stay up late and have a great time.
Ready to strut your stuff? Someone there wants to see you do it -- in the worst way. Don't be shy. Slip into the outfit that makes you feel as good as it makes you look.
Children might short your fuse easily, but you must learn to be patient with the little ones. Beware of testy impatience. Brooding resentment and self-pity will get you nowhere. A less self- centred approach to life might lead you to a happier state of affairs in August. Your life would then be full of fun and reverie.
Self-preservation isn't selfish, my dear Dolphins, as people born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb-21 Mar) are sometimes called. Helping others is all well and good, but when it comes at the expense of your own priorities, well, it might be time to scale back.
You are incredibly focussed on your health and why not? You want to be in tip-top shape when Mr or Ms Right comes along. You'll need all the energy that you've been storing up lately, my dear Dolphins.
You can afford to be picky, my dear Dolphins. You don't mind your own company at all, and you know within five seconds of meeting someone if there's anything there. Don't flirt with anyone you're not really interested in.
Your friends are counting on you today. So make sure to be there for them, my dear Dolphins. You may have to play nurse to their broken hearts, but they'll sure be grateful for your care.
You just want everyone to be happy and get along. Nothing wrong with that. But a little friction isn't necessarily a bad thing. It keeps everyone -- including you and a certain cutie -- on their toes.
