Horoscopes:
Pleasant preoccupations
By Imhotep
When we're in the presence of higher-ups, we naturally tend to be the person they want us to be, my dear Sea Goats, as people born under the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec - 22 Jan) are sometimes called. So every now and then, we need time alone to get to know ourselves again. Take some time for yourself now.
Prepare yourselves, my dear Sea Goats, for some wonderful long distance conversation.
Someone you haven't seen in a very long time will cross your path in the weeks ahead. Someone who, believe it or not, is still carrying a torch for you. So what are you going to do about this person? Think hard.
Sea Goats, however, don't appreciate being pushed around. But interaction with authority figures or older people might not run smoothly in December. That higher-up person who's been grilling you lately is on your mind. Relax. Go easy on them.
Being immovable will only delay the inevitable, especially when it comes to dealing with old patterns in your love life that simply don't work anymore. Try a new approach: positive thinking brings positive results.
Expand your definition of "your type" and you could see a major upswing in romantic activity. It's time to look at, and toss, any outmoded ideas holding you back.
Intense is the only way to describe how you're feeling about that long-distance person who's been in contact lately, my dear Water Bearers, as people born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23 Jan - 19 Feb) are sometimes called. Just be sure you're not more interested because they're far away and basically unavailable.
When you're involved on any level, my dear Water-Bearers, you give generously. Give a friend a romantic hand -- take them up to someone they're interested in, pass along an online hottie who's not quite your type or listen to their relationship woes sympathetically. It is good for your love karma.
The stars are sending their best felicitations your way, so feel free to parlay it into some interesting new romantic possibilities. Celebrate you, and the world will too. And, your best way to someone's heart now is by offering that special person a helping hand. Working on a project or running an errand together makes for more bonding than a dull date.
Try not to think about work too much in the weeks ahead. Things are crazy there and you'll be so much better off focussing on all the things that are going your way these days. If someone owes you something, you might just cut right through the madness and remind them. There's a chance they have forgotten. Then you'll both feel better. Water Bearers instinctively know that they must act to get results. So get going.
Feeling restless? Well it's no wonder, my dear Dolphins as people born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb -21 Mar) are sometimes called. The heavens are doing their best to lure you out into the company of successful, accomplished companions who'd like to whisper all their secrets into your ear.
Get dressed. Go for it.
Group efforts get you where you need to go a lot quicker than solo runs. Find some like-minded individuals to join you in your current endeavours. It is all about give and take in the interpersonal realm at the moment, and your innate compassion and sympathy means you are definitely a giver. Ask for what you need in turn -- it will be gladly offered up.
The time is ripe for a romantic transformation -- load up on the fabulous cosmic energy and have your own personal harvest festival. There's a bounty of joy for you right here on earth, so get the party started.
It is high time you did something lovely for yourself. Make it a priority no matter what.
