“Masterpieces XVI” is a collective exhibition currently showing exclusive pieces by the Zamalek Art Gallery's iconic artists at both venues I and II. Venue I highlights include a piece by Gazbia Sirry and work by Farghali Abdel-Hafiz, Abdel-Rahman Al-Nashar, Zeinab Al-Sagini and Gamal Al-Sagini, as well as older and never before exhibited works by Mustafa Abdel-Moaaty and Rabab Nemr. At Venue II a painting by Hussein Bikar from a private collection marks the gallery's first showing of the artist. Venue II also boasts the latest pieces by Kamal El-Fiky, Souad Mardam Bey, Yasmine Al-Hazek, Carelle Homsy and Amina Al-Dimerdash. “Masterpieces XVI” is full of gorgeous sculptures, from lifesize figures by Khaled Al-Abasiry and Ahmed Abdel-Tawab to the whimsical characters by Gamal Abdel-Nasser, Nathan Doss and Ayman Sadawi. Trademark works by Mohamed Al-Fayoumi, Sameh Ismail, Adel Mostafa and Adel Tharwat stand next to the earlier sculptures of Abdel-Aziz Saab and paintings by Saleh Abdel-Sabour. Wael Abdel-Sabbour and Khaled Sorour add to the wide variety of the exhibition with signature pieces from private collections. The exhibition will remain on view until 15 September
