It has been organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo, in collaboration with the Bologna Children's Book Fair, the leading professional fair for children's books in the world, and AUC, American University in Cairo. These creations reflect the artistic trajectories followed by designers who, in the course of just two generations, have introduced a new concept for illustrated books. Torio is a professional journalist and has worked as an editor at the Mexican newspapers El Norte and Reforma (closing 15 February). Kodak Passageway Kodak passageway, 20 Adly St, in front of the Synagogue, 11am - 9pm every day weekends included Baad El Bahr for Cultural Development and Mashrabia Gallery of Contemporary Art organise a pop-up exhibition by Rania Atef and Akeel Khreef, two of the participating artists in the From Rags to Riches project. This is an occasion to experience these up-cycled works exhibited in downtown, one of the most vibrant and artistic areas in Cairo, before they are set in a public space, their final destination (7 February -5 March).
