Sun 24, 8pm: The Abdel-Halim Noweira Arab Music Ensemble. Thur 28, 8pm:RajasthaniFolk Dance and Music troupe from India, led by Eshak Khan, will present performances in Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said and Ismailia.Rajasthan is a beautiful amalgamation of the ancient and the modern. The troupe features10 members who will present different folk dance forms of Rajasthan like Kalbeliya,Ghoomar, Bhavai, Kacchi-Ghodi, Fire and TerahTaal (Thirteen Beat) dances. The way of playing traditional musical instruments of Rajasthan like Algoza and Morchang will also be displayed on the stage. The troupe will start its first performance at India's Republic Day Celebration on 26 January in Cairo (The shows will be open to the public).
