♥ A book signing was held at the Alef Bookstore in Heliopolis for journalist and writer Fawzi Ewais's book Monshaqeen an Al-Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood Renegades) and attended by Mai Samih. The author narrates, “After I interviewed Kamal Al-Halbawi in Kuwait and after I saw the effect of this on readers it came to my mind that it would be a very good idea to do more interviews, compile them and publish them in a book.” A discussion followed that was moderated by Alef Manager Mohammed Adli. The book includes interviews with Kamal Al-Halbawi, Sameh Fayez and Islam Al-Katatni who also attended the event together with Amr Al-Baz, former Egyptian Cultural Consultant in the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait. Muslim Brotherhood Lawyer Tharwat Al-Kherbawi, former deputy guise of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed Habib and Mokhtar Nouh are also interviewed in the book.
