Egyptian blogger sentenced to three years by military court
Ruling relates to Maikel Nabil's blog post that accused the Egyptian army of deception over its role in the revolution

Egypt's Military Court has handed blogger Maikel Nabil a three year sentence for his blog post entitled “The army and the people were never one hand.”
The blog entry included an indepth analysis of the role the army has so far played throughout the January 25 Revolution.
Nabil was accused of “insulting the military” and “disturbing public security.”
He was detained at his home on 28 March.
Following the sentence, fellow blogger Wael Abbas wrote on Twitter that “Egypt will never be safe for bloggers.”
