One title is ‘enough' for Man City season to be successful: Toure
Ivory Coast's Yaya Toure says Manchester City's season will be considered successful even if they fail to win the Premier League title
Published in Ahram Online on 14 - 03 - 2014

Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure said Manchester City's season cannot be deemed a failure if his side lose the Premier League title.
City have already won the League Cup but their hopes of a quadruple were shattered after they were eliminated from the FA Cup by Wigan Athletic before losing to Spanish giants Barcelona in the European Champions League round of 16.
They are nine points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea but have three matches in hand over their main challengers for the prestigious title.
“We know it's going to be difficult. But when you lose games, you learn more about yourselves. Sometimes when you lose it's not bad,” Toure, who is one of City's best performers this season, was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
“We have to move on and think about the Premier League. With the players we have I still think we can do it. A failure? Why? Why would it be a failure? We have already won a cup, so you can't say that.
“Football is a competition and only one team can win each of them. So don't say we would be failures because we have won something already, but now we want to win more.”
The 30-year-old, who was named as the 2013 African Player of the Year, has put in a series of impressive displays this term, scoring 17 goals in all competitions including 13 in the Premier League.
His goal tally included a stunning, long-range drive in Man City's 3-1 victory over Sunderland in the League Cup final.
