Zamalek coach anticipates early goal against Niger's AS Douanes Zamalek manager Mido is not overly worried ahead of CAF Champions League game against Niger's AS Douanes Sunday
Zamalek coach Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam has revealed that he hasn't paid extra attention to Niger's AS Douanes and won't press his players to score big in their first leg match to be more comfortable in the second leg. The Whites will host Niger's AS Douanes in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round at Cairo Stadium on Sunday. The return match will be on 16 February. "I didn't watch more games for Niger's AS Douanes, but I expect they have three to four talented players," Mido told a press conference Friday. "I won't hold pressure the players, asking them to score more goals during the first leg," he added. "All I want is an early goal to take the upper hand of the game, and introduce our ordinary performance," Mido said. Zamalek will lose the services of duo defenders Salah Soliman and Hani Said during the CAF Champions League game after both players sustained injures during Friday's training session. "I am following the injuries update and I will work to replace the injured players," the Zamalek coach concluded.
