Arab Contractors defeated Ragaa 4-2 in the 2nd matchday of Egypt's Premier League on Monday. A 17th minute goal by Nigerian striker Shamusideen Tijani gave Arab Contractors an early lead, four minutes before Mohamed Salim doubled the score. Mohamed Farouk notched the third to finish the first half with 3-0 win for the Cairo side over Egypt's Premier League newcomer Ragaa. Ragaa forward Tariq Salem scored his side's first goal before Arab Contractors' Mohamed Adel find the fourth goal in the 71st minute from penalty kick to end Ragaa hopes of winning the game. The Marsa Matruh side player Tamer Moheb scored the second goal for his side ten minutes before the final whistle. Arab Contractors are in top of Group A of the league with four points after Monday's win and last week's draw with ENPPI. In another game, Nigerian striker scored the winner for Gouna during the 1-0 win over El-Entag El-Harby to give the coastal side their first win in the league this season. Smouha defeated Ghazl El-Mahalla 1-0 when Ghanaian striker Papa Arko found the net only 17 minutes after the start. Ittihad of Alexandria drew in the second game of the league as they were held to a goalless draw with Maqassa on Monday after a 1-1 match with Ragaa last week.
