Protests break out on another Egypt campus University of Tanta students demand the university president and deans be replaced and call for an investigation of corruption in the university administration
Several hundred students at Tanta University, in the Delta city of Tanta, are demanding that the university president, Hala Fouad step down. The protesting students said that they also want the university to be purged of all members of the old regime and demanded that all the deans of the various departments be removed and replaced by elected deans rather than appointed ones. The students also called for an investigation into the university hospital, which has been under construction for 30 years and has not yet been finished.
