The Egyptian central security forces have used teargas cannisters on Sunday afternoon to disperse Ahly fans who are trying to enter Arab Contractors Stadium, Ahram Arabic website reported.
The gates of the stadium will be opened since 11:00 AM until the stadium is packed.
Today's clash will be the first to take place in Cairo since the February 2012 Port Said disaster left over 70 Ahly fans dead following crowd riot in the Suez Canal city.
Egyptian side Ahly are on the brink of winning a record-extending eighth Champions League title as they host South Africa's Orlando Pirates in the final second-leg on Sunday.
The Red Devils are expected to be roared on by the passionate crowd they have been missing in most of their Champions League matches, which they were forced to hold more than 400 km away from Cairo due to security concerns in the capital.
