Ahly, Zamalek to play African football matches in Egypt despite security concerns
Security authorities agree that Ahly and Zamalek can play their next CAF Champions League matches in a stadium on the Red Sea

Egyptian security authorities give permission Wednesday to the Cairo-based clubs, Ahly and Zamalek, to host their CAF Champions League round four of the group stage matches in Gouna stadium on the Red Sea.
Ahly is to host Congo's AC Leopards on 31 August, one day before Zamalek hosts South Africa's Orlando Pirates.
Gouna is a Red Sea resort 430km away from the capital and its stadium does not have a lighting system.
The matches will be held behind closed doors as have almost football matches in Egypt since the Port Said Stadium disaster in February 2012 when more than 70 fans died in an attack by rivals.
The Cairo giants will have to play by the relatively calm Red Sea in light of the volatile violence on the streets around the country since the military ousted president Mohamed Morsi 3 July in response to mass protests for his ouster.
Like the Leopards, Ahly have four points from a possible nine, after the Egyptians drew with rivals Zamalek with one goal each and were defeated by South Africa's Orlando Pirates, who lead the group with seven points.
