Tunisia's Esperance, Cameroon's Cotonsport win in Champions League Esperance and Cotonsport are joint leaders of Group B after beating Ivorian side Sewe Sport and Angola's Recreativo do Libolo respectively on Sunday
Tunisia's Esperance and Cameroonian side Cotonsport moved top of Group B after defeating Sewe Sport and Recreativo do Libolo respectively on Sunday. Forward Oussama Darragi notched home three minutes after the restart to give Esperance a precious 1-0 win at Ivory Coast's Sewe Sport as the Tunisians secured a second successive win after losing to Libolo in their opening group-stage game. In Cameroon, 18-year-old midfielder Alexis Yougouda put Cotonsport ahead on 31 minutes and Emmanuel Mbongo doubled their lead two minutes after the interval. Libolo's Ruben Gouveia narrowed the gap with one minute remaining but it was too little, too late as Cotonsport held on for their second win of the group. Esperance are on top of the group with six points, ahead of second-placed Cotonsport on goal difference. Sewe and Libolo are third and fourth respectively with three points each.
