Porto to offload Ghana's Atsu: Report Portuguese side Porto decide to sell Ghana's Christian Atsu amid interest from some English Premier League clubs, Sky Sports reports
Ghana winger Christian Atsu is set to leave Portuguese side Porto and could be heading to the English Premier League, Sky Sports reported on Friday. Atsu, whose contract with Porto runs out next year, has refused the club's offer to extend his deal and increase his buy-out clause. Sky Sports said Premier League trio Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham are monitoring the player's situation at Estadio do Dragao. “Porto have indicated they would be willing to sell Christian now as he will not sign a new deal,” a source close to the player told Sky Sports. “Christian has always said he would like to play in the Premier League and a number of clubs are interested in him.” Atsu, 21, was part of the Ghana side that finished fourth at the African Cup of Nations last February. He scored in the team's 3-0 Group B victory over Niger.
