The club also announces its full support to the minister of interior Mohamed Ibrahim vowing not to withdraw from their position like what happened on 28 January 2011. The general club for the Police personnel and civilian workers held a press conference Sunday afternoon to announce the official stance of the club from the upcoming 30 June mass protests. "As the police force that serves all the people we would like to announce that we are not biased to a certain political group against other group" stated the club in its statement in the press conference. "Hundreds of thousands of police officers will secure public and private properties as well police stations and prisons and will not let anyone attack them" the statement read in the Press conference adding that the police forces will not come near to the protests or the protesters. The members of the club also vowed that the police officers will not withdraw from their position like what happened on 28 January 2011.
